Straight in the deep end...

I went into my role as a trainer for a large global corporate responisble for the UK, Ireland and the 4 Nordic countries straight from being a Business Development Manager with zero training experience.

The first session I ever led in front of a live audience of 80 odd people was an absolute disaster. I was literally a rabbit in the head lights. No really! The stage lights were so bright shining down on me, I couldn't see the audience!!!

Noone interacted...

Noone took any value from the session...

There were no implementable lessons...

It was totally dire!!!! I thought all I needed to do was to go up and present a pretty powerpoint full of great information. Surely my audience would recieve the download of information and go back out into the field and smash their sales targets?! Erm, nope!

I've learnt the hard way how to turn this around with failure, after faiure after failure! But you don't have to! I've laid out all the steps I take to build and deliver 5* courses into an easy to follow system!

A bit about me...

I'm an expert in delivering impactful training both online and face to face.

After 7 years training a large salesforce on selling skills and product knowledge as well as teaching leadership, coaching skills and personality profiling, I have mastered my craft. I've trained over 1000 hours worth of content to 1000's of attendees.

My super power is getting my audience engaged, excited and leaving the training absolutely pumped!!! I get consistent incredible testimonials that always sound like this, 'I've worked for a lot of large corporates but that is THE best training I've ever had'!!!

After nearly ten years in roles selling business to business, in 2016 my line manager told me to go for the newly opened training position after the previous trainer had left the company. Who me?!?!?! No way!!! I had zero belief in my abilities. They were waiting for my application. I had mastered a relationship based consultative approach to selling and they wanted me to teach that to the rest of the salesforce. Wow!

Here I am 7 years later having re-shaped the training role and this year I won the Global Award for best trainer in 2023. Beating China, Japan, all of Europe, Korea, Brazil, the U.S., you get the picture, it's a global award...

It was a challenging journey I'm someone who is always looking to improve and evolve the way training is delivered. It was incredible to recieve an award recognising my passion.

It's not all work

When I'm not trying to change the world of Learning & Development I'm at home in my pyjamas (outfit of choice) relaxing with my 3 cats obsessing about Autumn & pumpkins. Or, I'm out on the Welsh hills with my horse Teddy. I also casually have 3 hens in my back garden and no I don't live on a farm, yet... I'm on an estate with neighbours! ROFL! (Blast from the past).

Incase you haven't noticed fun and laughs is my thing. You'll rarely find me being serious! I also love a bit of country music!

I'm different not only because I'm a bit crackers but noone else is teaching what I teach. You can get 100's of courses on marketing, funnels, launching your course, messaging and visibilty strategy but what about the skills you need to deliver a jaw dropping course, masterclass or face to face training event? Spoiler alert! That's where I come in!

I've had the privilege of delivering training online and in several countries including Latvia, Spain, Germany, Poland, Prague to people from all over the world; Egypt, Russia, Spain, Italy, France, Benelux, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Greece and the list goes on.

I believe that ANYONE can deliver an applause worthy course and I'm here to impart my wisdom and show you exactly how to do it.
